Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Redz Restaurant (“Redz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 515 Fellowship Road, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use redzrestaurant.com and related online services (the “Site”). This draft reflects current Site practices and should be reviewed by counsel for your operating entity.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information needed to operate the Site:

  • Contact and inquiry details: name, email address, phone number, and message content when you use our contact form.
  • Reservation details: name, email, phone, party size, date and time preferences, and special requests.
  • Private dining / event inquiry details: name, email, phone, occasion, preferred date, guest count, and special requests.
  • AI concierge (Henry) conversations: messages you send, booking details you provide in chat, a browser session identifier, the page path where chat was opened, and basic device/browser information (user agent). Chat content may include personal information if you share it.
  • Technical data: standard server and security logs (such as IP address and request metadata) used for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and reliability.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and coordinate reservations or private dining.
  • Send transactional confirmations or follow-ups by email and, when enabled, SMS.
  • Operate Henry, our AI assistant, including checking availability and submitting reservation requests.
  • Improve Site reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate the Site, only as needed for their services:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (for example, Vercel).
  • Database and authentication (Supabase).
  • Transactional email (Resend) and optional SMS (Twilio).
  • AI model providers that process Henry chat content (OpenRouter and/or OpenAI).
  • Staff and operators who manage reservations and inquiries (including Laurel Lodging staff with authorized access).
  • Google Places API for publicly available review content (processed server-side; not an advertising pixel).

Third-party sites

The Site links to third-party services we do not control, including Hilton hotel booking and the DoubleTree Events / banquets site. Those sites have their own privacy practices. When you leave our Site to submit a banquet RFP or book a room, information you provide is governed by that third party’s policy.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential browser storage required for Site function (for example, a session identifier for Henry chat). As of the date above, the Site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising/analytics trackers. If we add non-essential tracking in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice or choices.

AI assistant disclosure

Henry is an automated AI assistant, not a human host. Conversations may be stored in our systems for service quality and operations, and message content is processed by third-party AI providers to generate replies and complete booking tools. Do not send sensitive information (such as payment card numbers or government ID numbers) through chat.

Retention

We retain reservation, lead, and chat records for as long as reasonably needed for operations, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, then delete or anonymize them. Typical internal targets are about 24 months for reservations and leads and about 12 months for chat transcripts, subject to operational and legal needs. Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email info@redzrestaurant.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call 856.380.6045. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The Site is intended for adults arranging dining and events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS, security headers, and rate limiting on public forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

New Jersey and other privacy laws

If comprehensive state privacy laws (including the New Jersey Data Privacy Law) apply to our operations based on processing volume or other thresholds, we will honor applicable consumer rights and notice requirements. Even when those thresholds are not met, we aim to provide clear notice and a practical request channel for guests.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
